Software Engineer (Chinese Speaking)

We are actively seeking a Software Engineer who is proficient in both English and Chinese to develop new systems and features and modify and maintain existing systems for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. What you will do:

• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture by producing clean, efficient code.
• Contribute significantly to team projects, producing results that have a major impact on the business.
• Design and build modular components and reusable subsystems using various tools, cloud services, and libraries to enhance app quality and development efficiency.
• Support the operations team by helping to triage and resolve production issues.
• Focus on security, maintainability, reusability, and testability in software development and code reviews.
• Maintain quality assurance, ensuring the performance, responsiveness, and efficiency of applications.
• Analyze and resolve complex software issues by determining their root causes and developing sustainable, efficient solutions.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (written and verbal).
• 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
• Proficiency in coding in any of the following languages: Go, Node/Nest (Typescript), Angular, React (Typescript), Flutter, Java, React Native, Swift, Python, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, etc.
• Experience working with SQL.
• Project management experience and/or experience working in an Agile environment.
