The position is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role involves overseeing a team of Sales Consultants, driving sales performance, and fostering a customer-centric environment. The Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall success of the luxury automotive dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Performance:
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing guidance and support to Sales Consultants to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, share best practices, and motivate the sales team.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor Sales Consultants, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes high levels of engagement and motivation.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure Sales Consultants build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance brand loyalty.
- Oversee the customer journey, ensuring that customers receive detailed information about vehicle features, specifications, and pricing.
- Manage the negotiation and vehicle purchasing process, ensuring a smooth and satisfactory experience for customers.
4. Market Analysis and Sales Opportunities:
- Analyze automotive market trends to identify potential sales opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and events that drive showroom traffic and sales.
5. After-Sales Service:
- Ensure Sales Consultants provide satisfactory after-sales service to maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor after-sales feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
6. Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role within the luxury automotive sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining customer relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of luxury vehicle features, specifications, and market trends.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
