Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description : 

1. Service reliability: Ensuring that services are reliable, available, and performance.
2. Monitoring and alerting: Setting up monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues.
3. Capacity planning: Planning for future capacity needs based on growth and usage patterns.
4. Incident response: Responding to and resolving incidents to minimize downtime and impact on users.
5. Automation: Automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
6. Performance optimization: Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in the system.
7. Security: Ensuring that systems are secure and comply with security best practices.
8. Infrastructure as code: Managing infrastructure through code to enable versioning, reproducibility, and scalability
9. Deployment and Release Management: Implement best practices for deployment and release management to ensure that new features and updates are rolled out smoothly and without impacting service reliability.
10. Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that services meet reliability and performance requirements.
11. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of systems, processes, and best practices.

Requirements :

• Bachelor degree - IT major
• Minimum 3 years solid experience with Linux and Open Source administration and configuration: Nginx, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch (ELK)
• Comfortable with GCP or AWS Cloud
• Having experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• A strong desire to remain current on emerging digital technologies
• Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Previous exposure to and experience with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS
• Willing to WFO in banking industry
