TRADE MARKETING MANAGER

Based in Jakarta, the Trade Marketing Manager will develop, service, and grow relationships with channel partners. The scope of this role includes: developing sales strategies, negotiating with partners and training and developing the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Building relationships with key suppliers, identifying new revenue opportunities
• Managing the promotional plan, identifying new promotional opportunities
• Implement plans that deliver growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements
• Identify priority channels for the category/sub-category and work with the Channel Sales Manager to recommend plans in line with overall market strategy
• Coaching and supporting the sales teams to execute effectively with customers
• Segmenting the customer base and working closely with P&Ls to optimise channel strategies and maximise ROI
• Develop and propose the in-store vision of success for the category/sub-category in each channel
• Implement and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions
• Implement actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding of shopper behaviour within the category/sub-category and channel
• Recommend and implement clear promotional guidelines based on shopper understanding and current market knowledge
• Managing the trade spend and allocating the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budget across all channels/customers

Key Requirements

• Minimum of five years' experience in trade marketing, sales or marketing - experience in modern/traditional trade is required
• Basic understanding of large brand business/luxury goods/wines and spirits/hospitality/FMCG entertainment industry
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good command of English with computer skills
