UX Writer - Merchant Lending

About the Role

At GoTo group we follow a simple premise, “Go Far, Go Together”, UX Writers make this possible by helping users navigate the product and improve user experience to help them in accomplishing their goals. Through understanding both business and user inputs, you will be the primary advocate for all our user communication by creating clear, consistent, and helpful messaging. From marketing messages, product copywriting, and all the way to agent/ops user communication, you will work with different teams in Merchant Lending to craft the voice of all our products.

What You Will Do

• • Think like the end-users and consumers to come up with a communication strategy that is intuitive, easy to understand, and in line with the goals of the product
  • Plan, write, and execute copies with the aim of improving the user interface and experience
  • Responsible for creating end-to-end communication for all products (including product, marketing, telesales, collections, customer service, ops, etc) and maintaining consistency with the brands’ tone of voice
  • Conduct research and competitive benchmarking about the product and the market to improve copies and communication strategies
  • Partner with Product Designer and Researcher to collect user feedback to optimize communication content
  • Create and maintain a library of reference guidelines and standards for copywriting

What You Will Need

• • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of Copywriting or Product writing experience for digital products or services
  • Creative storyteller with a user-focused mindset and a drive to write engaging and effective copies
  • A strong portfolio of written work that shows business impact and results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, proofreading, and editing skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, act as a strategic partner in product strategy, and be an advocate for our users
  • Creative and able to develop original ideas, detail-oriented, and willing to grow
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work across multiple projects simultaneously

Merchant Lending is part of GoTo Financial’s financial services unit. Our team works to provide responsible and sustainable financial services to our merchant partners. We operate with the fundamental belief that financial inclusion can unlock the doors to a better quality life, both in the present as well as in the long term.

Our team’s mission is to empower our users to realize their dreams through responsible lending. GoModal, our flagship product, currently helps many merchant partners to increase the size, scale, and quality of their operations. We’re planning on growing aggressively by tapping into and expanding our services into new platforms and partners.

The team is based in Indonesia, thus allowing us to enjoy collaborative iterative development with fast feedback cycles. We work in a highly supportive environment where we never hesitate to help each other out, unblock any and all barriers, and have fun along the way.
