Job Summary: Website Manager
As a Website Manager, you will be at the forefront of our organization's online presence, responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of our website. Your role involves ensuring a seamless user experience, overseeing content strategies, and implementing performance optimization measures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align the website with organizational goals, while your expertise in web development and analytics will drive continuous improvement.
Shift: 9 am to 5 pm EST; Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Maintenance: Leading the ongoing maintenance of the organization's website, updating a few functions and some minor edits. Funneling the customer's email address and info.
- Social Media and Content Management: Oversee the creation, editing, and optimization of website content to enhance user experience and support organizational objectives. Managing and updating video and graphic contents on Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
- User Experience and Design: Ensure the website provides an intuitive and visually pleasing user experience. Updating the plug in - shopping cart and adding some functions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze website performance, implementing strategies to optimize speed and responsiveness. Proactively address factors that may impact user satisfaction and overall website effectiveness.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools to track user behavior and generate actionable insights. Provide regular reports to stakeholders, offering recommendations for continuous improvement.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Implement and oversee SEO strategies to enhance the website's visibility and search engine ranking. Stay abreast of SEO best practices and industry trends.
- Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect the website against potential threats. Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, IT, and communications teams to align the website with organizational objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on website-related projects.
- User Training and Support: Train internal teams on website management tools and best practices. Provide technical support to users as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in website development and maintenance.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.
- Experience with social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram.
- Video editing experience using editing softwares.
- Experience with copywriting and graphic design.
- Strong understanding of web development technologies.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
