In support of this, we have set ourselves a target to deliver a considerable uplift in Value. The Credit Risk team within Marketing Risk is part of the 2nd line of defence of Marketing’s activities. The Credit Risk Team exists to proactively identify, assess, and manage credit exposures arising from counterparties in support of the Marketings sales and trading activities. It’s purpose is to safeguard the Marketing’s financial health by ensuring robust credit risk frameworks, policies, and limits are in place, enabling informed decision-making, protecting against potential defaults, and supporting sustainable business growth through prudent risk-taking.
