Daiwa Asset Management (Singapore) Ltd. was incorporated in 1994.  The company’s immediate holding corporation is Daiwa Asset Management Co. Ltd., a company incorporated in Japan.  The ultimate holding corporation is Daiwa Securities Group Inc., a company also incorporated in Japan.

Daiwa Asset Management is responsible for the Daiwa Securities Group’s asset management operations.  The company develops and manages investment trust products, and markets them through a multitude of sales channels, including not only Daiwa Securities and other retail securities companies but also major banks and post offices throughout Japan and the defined contribution pension funds of business corporations.  The company uses the fund management know-how it has acquired over many years to help investors steadily build their assets and meet their investment goals.
