G&M was founded in 1975 by the late Mr Chia Teck Kim and has been acting as an intermediary for General Insurance and Risk Management services for close to four decades. Companies are able to focus on their core competencies when they have the proper risk management in place, and also when their financial risks are properly protected by insurance. Formerly known as General & Marine Brokers Pte Ltd, the company has rebranded itself to G&M Pte Ltd in 2012 under an Agency model. Starting with a core clientele of many of Singapore’s listed companies, G&M has expanded and diversified its business, now covering not only Multi-National Corporations, but also SMEs and individuals.
