KE Fuel Trading Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“KEFTS”), a 100% subsidiary of The Kansai Electric Power (‘KANSAI’), was established in April 2017. KANSAI, the second largest Electric Power Company in Japan, has a diverse and substantial generation portfolio including nuclear, thermal, hydro and several other renewable technologies and LNG now plays a key role in balancing supply and demand of electricity.

As KANSAI’s LNG trading arm, KEFTS aims to gain ability to transact short-term LNG to manage LNG demand/supply fluctuations for KANSAI and ever since the establishment, KEFTS has successfully grown the transaction volume mainly in Asia Pacific market and now, envisions to expand our activity area into Atlantic market.
