Meijer is a Grand Rapids, Mich-based retailer that operates 499 supercenters, neighbourhood markets and Express locations throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, IIIinois, Kentucky and Wisconsin. 

A privately owned and family operated company since 1934, Meijer pioneered the ''one-stop shopping'' concept and has evolved through the years to include expanded fresh produce and meat departments, as well as pharmacies, comprehensive apparel departments, pet departments, garden centres, toys and electronics. 

Meijer setup their first operations outside of the US in Hong Kong SAR in 2013. The retailer has two offices in Hong Kong and one in Dhaka, Bangladesh. As Meijer grows and strengthens its regional operations, they have expanded their operations into Singapore and establishing their regional Headquarter for sourcing in Singapore.
