Motorola Singapore was awarded Operational Headquarters status in 1993 by the Singapore Government, making it the OHQ that co-ordinates and supports its regional subsidiaries in the Asia-Pacific region. Today, Motorola Singapore staff are involved in manufacturing; research and development; marketing; sales and distribution; and support functions such as Human Resource, Training through Motorola University, Information Technology and Finance.
