NOMA Consulting specialises in the design of cost effective tunnel support, shaft and temporary works solutions.  Our activities include conceptual, preliminary and detail design solutions, tender and detailed design solutions for contractors, value engineering at all stages, geological / geotechnical investigation and interpretation, expertise in tunnel lining and large span cavern design, ground movement assessment and the effects of ground movements on existing assets, including historic buildings, surface infrastructure and underground services.

Our specialised tunnelling expertise covers all ground conditions including soft ground, hard rock and mixed ground conditions using shotcrete support or pre-cast concrete segments installed within a Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM).
