Careers at People's Buddhism Study Society

The name of the society shall be known as PEOPLE’S BUDDHISM STUDY SOCIETY (hereinafter referred to as the "Society") , approved by the Register of Societies. 

The Society’s objects shall be as follows:

a) To promote religion moral leading members to the purification of human nature.

b) To follow the spiritualism of Lord Buddha and to propagate and study the Teachings of Buddha for the interest of the public.

c) To maintain the livelihood of Buddhist monks and nuns as approved by the Society.

d) To establish Scholarship so as to sponsor devout Buddhists to further their studies in Buddhism and hence to develop potential leaders for Buddhism.

e) To do all such other things as are incidental to the attainment of the above objects or any of them and provided that nothing shall be done for commercial reasons or solely for profits, and in particular the Society may:

i) purchase, take on lease or otherwise however acquire lands, houses and immovable property of any description or tenure whatsoever and every manner of right or interest for the purpose of the Society.

ii) borrow or raise money with or without security upon such terms as may seen expedient or by mortgage charges or promissory notes and or such propose to charge all or any part of the undertaking, property and assets of the Society.

iii) sell or dispose of the undertaking property and assets of the Society or any other part of thereof at such time in such manner and for such consideration as may be thought fit for the purpose of the Society.

f) To do all charitable and social services to the community regardless of race or religion in fulfillment of Buddha's teachings and Buddhist principles.
