Singapore CAE Flight Training (SCFT) brings together the expertise of both Singapore International Airlines and CAE to cater to increasing demand for trained pilots worldwide fueled by the industry’s strong growth. 

The joint venture will support the SIA Group’s fleet and network expansion plans, as well as develop new revenue-generation opportunities through third party training. 

SCFT will further enhance Singapore’s position as a leading aviation hub and will provide simulator and classroom training with an initial focus on Boeing aircraft types. 

In addition to the current fours devices (3 x B777 FFS, 1 x B777 FTD and1 X B747 FFS) SCFT will be adding 4 more devices (1 x B787 FFS, 1 x B787 FTD, 1 x B737MAX FFS and 1 x B7373 MAX FTD) by the end of 2019 with plans for further devices in the future. 

The equally-owned joint venture will operate out of the Singapore Airlines Training Centre (STC) located near Changi Airport.
