The STA is governed by Sport Singapore, the Commissioner of Charities, the Registry of Societies, as well as the board of STA's Committee Members.
The STA Constitution, which is the main governing instrument, has been approved by all governing bodies. The STA's constitution comprises of regulations for the governance of club affiliation, national players, management committee and accounts, amongst others.
