Job Description - Application Engineer

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java.
Build and maintain frontend components using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
Build and maintain integrations with relational databases including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.

Overview
We are hiring an experienced Software Engineer with strong backend Java development expertise to join a growing engineering team undergoing strategic expansion. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-grade applications while working in a collaborative, agile environment.

This role is ideal for engineers who demonstrate strong autonomy, problem-solving ability, and the capability to independently deliver high-quality solutions in complex corporate environments.

What You'll Do

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java .
Build and maintain frontend components using TypeScript, JavaScript, and React
Build and maintain integrations with relational databases including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL .
Participate in application architecture discussions and technical solution design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
Participate in pair programming sessions and collaborative development activities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development standards.
Ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.

Must-Have Experience

3-10 years proven experience developing applications with Java in a corporate or enterprise setting
Full stack development experience, including React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL
Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work
Experience delivering working code under minimal supervision
