Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Manage application deployments and prepare environments across INT, SIT, UAT, and production
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery
Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust infrastructure solutions for the Finance IT platform
Conduct post-deployment smoke testing, perform initial issue analysis, and collaborate with development teams on root cause resolution
Manage and support SQL-based application configurations, including stored procedures
Configure and optimize Apache Spark clusters, including performance tuning and resource utilization analysis
Integrate security practices and code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube) into the software development lifecycle
Implement and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure system performance, availability, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align DevOps initiatives with business objectives
Research and adopt new technologies to improve deployment processes, scalability, and system efficiency
Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies to support project delivery
Streamline build and release processes in collaboration with development teams
Manage source code repositories using tools such as Azure Repos and GitLab
Mentor and support junior team members, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, software development, or system operations
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or Perl
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps (TFS), GitLab CI, or CircleCI
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid cloud environments
Basic knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Familiarity with network architecture and security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, firewalls, VPNs)
Exposure to Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Spark, Spark Streaming, and Elasticsearch
Strong problem-solving skills with experience handling complex system integration issues
Knowledge of financial systems, regulatory reporting, or compliance is an advantage
