We are seeking an inspiring and adaptable Humanities Teacher to join a progressive international school, delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences across subjects such as History, Geography, and Social Studies.

The Ideal Candidate



  • A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, BEd or equivalent)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Humanities (History, Geography, or Social Studies)

  • Experience in managing neurodivergent students and with diverse or additional learning needs

  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices

  • Ability to create engaging, inquiry-based lessons

  • Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A flexible, patient, and student-centred approach


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons tailored to student needs

  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress

  • Differentiate learning to support a wide range of abilities

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment

  • Contribute to curriculum development and cross-curricular initiatives

  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

  • Support extracurricular activities and school events Uphold high standards of safeguarding and pastoral care

  • Job-type: Full-time

  • Duration: 1-2 years (renewable)

  • Salary range: Competitive and based on experience
