Insurance Operations SME - 6 Months

The Company


We are working with a global consulting firm supporting a reputable Insurance company and are looking for an experienced Operations SME to join an ongoing project. This is a hands-on operational role, not a BA or transformation position and we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.

This is a 6 months contract.


The Role

• Act as the operational knowledge owner, providing Singapore life insurance expertise to BA and IT delivery teams.
• Translate new product features into operational and system requirements, bridging the gap between what a product does and how it needs to work on the ops side.
• Work within in-house proprietary systems (onboarding support will be provided).
• Review task plans and results to maintain delivery quality across the team.
• Perform hands-on UAT, writing test scenarios, executing test plans, and validating outcomes against requirements.
• Liaise with BAs, developers, and operations teams to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and delivered on time.
• Support documentation and operational guides as part of go-live readiness.

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in life insurance operations.
• Strong working knowledge of local insurance processes, regulations, and systems.
• Experience supporting product launches from an operations perspective, understanding how new products translate into system and process requirements.
• Hands-on UAT experience: writing scenarios, executing plans, and signing off results.
• Able to provide clear, structured requirements to BA and IT teams.
• Background in servicing and/or claims operations for life insurance products.
• A team player, this is a collaborative engagement and the quality of collective output matters as much as individual contribution
