Our client, an international financial services organisation, is on a search for an interim Head of Compliance to join their team in Singapore on a 6-month contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop fit-for-purpose compliance frameworks to support a scaling, commercially focused organisation.
Act as a strategic partner to the business, including working closely with the investment teams on cross-border governance and market expansion initiatives.
Own the organisation's audit readiness, ensuring robust processes, controls, and documentation are in place.
Establish and oversee a compliance monitoring to proactively identify and address regulatory risks, reporting findings clearly to senior leadership
Manage relationships with relevant regulatory bodies, serving as the primary liaison for examinations, enquiries, and submissions.
Provide pragmatic, commercially minded compliance guidance that enables the business to grow whilst managing risk appropriately.

Requirements:

Proven compliance experience within a regulated financial services environment.
Track record of building and/or enhancing compliance frameworks.
Strong audit background with hands-on experience in process design, internal controls, and conservative risk management.
Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-border regulatory requirements and multi-jurisdictional governance.
Experience within asset management or investment management environments is an advantage.

As this position needs to be filled as soon as possible, we can only proceed with candidates who are currently eligible to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
