Investment Operations & Reporting Specialist (1 Year Contract)

We are partnering with a leading financial services platform to hire an experienced Investment Operations professional to support product launches, reconciliations, and investment reporting within a regulated environment. This role offers exposure to investment-linked products, audit remediation initiatives, and regional reporting requirements.

1. Partner with the Product team to support the rollout of IUL/IUE offerings, including implementation activities and related reconciliation processes
2. Work closely with stakeholders to review change management workflows, identify irregularities in balances or journal postings, and drive the resolution of audit findings through full cash balance reconciliation (targeted completion by Dec 2026)
3. Support core Investment Operations processes, including UAT execution, post-implementation validation (Day 2 controls), and preparation/posting of accounting entries
4. Manage BAU deliverables, including monthly and quarterly ILP-related reconciliations and journal postings
5. Prepare and deliver investment reporting outputs in line with Group requirements
6. Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory obligations, within agreed timelines
7. Contribute to process enhancement initiatives, focusing on strengthening controls, improving accuracy, and increasing operational efficiency

1. 4–5 years of relevant experience in investment operations, investment reporting, or fund accounting within financial services
2. Prior exposure to insurance environments and/or Investment-Linked Products (ILP) is advantageous
3. Strong technical understanding of reconciliations, accounting entries, and investment reporting processes
4. Proven ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies independently with a high level of attention to detail
5. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
