Investment Ops Analyst - 6 Months Contract - CBD - S$Open

• Manage and ensure the timely setup of new investment portfolios. Action portfolios change requests, such as new markets, currencies, or trade messaging updates.
• Source critical data that drives trade confirmation, settlement, trade routing, reconciliation, global market openings, as well as Straight-Through Processing (STP) with providers, counterparties, and clients.
• Follow established procedures and controls while exercising good judgment in managing risk and following escalation procedures.
• Coordinate and manage internal and external service provider relationships, ensuring successful delivery of contracted services. Build and maintain close partnerships with PPS and other colleagues (e.g., Client Onboarding, Trading, Portfolio Management), as well as with external service providers and custodians.
• Support firm-wide initiatives, including acquisitions, new providers, enhancements to STP, and regulatory reforms

Required Skills & Experience:

• Working knowledge and understanding of Investment Operations and financial markets and related instruments.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving/analytical abilities, and research skills.
• Solid risk awareness and able to use a high tempo working style.
• PC proficient, with experience in Excel in particular.
• Adaptable communication skills.
• Knowledge of the APAC markets regime and a solid regulatory background.
• Experience with Aladdin applications and workflows
• SQL/Python Programming knowledge would be an advantage to help transform manual touch points and create efficiencies in the various workflows
