We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Marine Underwriting team in the Central Business District (CBD). This role is ideal for individuals with a background in insurance administration who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job title: Marine Underwriting Support
Work arrangement: Hybrid (4x work onsite, 1 day work from home) after 3 months of onsite training
Office location: CBD
Contract term: 1 year with opportunity for conversion based on performance
Job responsibilities:
Preparation and processing of renewal documentation, including data analysis and compliance screening.
Manage professional correspondence with external partners and intermediaries via email and telephone to facilitate account workflows.
Provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the policy lifecycle, from initial rating and documentation to post-binding updates and billing.
Ad-hoc tasks and supporting departmental operations as required.
Skills & Requirements:
Min 1-2 years of insurance underwriting support experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory, specifically the ability to utilize Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP for data management.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to articulate information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage deadlines effectively.
A proactive team player with a positive, solutions-oriented approach to tasks and challenges.
Dedicated to complete Marine learnings and training and professional development modules throughout the tenure.
