Job Description - Middle Office Operations

Support the Reporting Workstream for the Middle Office transformation programme.
Provide Middle Office subject matter input across multiple MO areas (e.g., trade lifecycle, corporate actions, reconciliations,
Review reporting requirements and validate that they align with actual MO workflows and controls.

About the Role
We are seeking a Middle Office Operations Analyst with project experience to support our transformation programme. The role sits within the Reporting Workstream, where you will provide operational insights, support UAT, and ensure that trade lifecycle, corporate action, reconciliation, and cash-related reporting flows accurately reflect real operational processes.

This is not a regulatory reporting role.
It focuses on Middle Office operational processes and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Reporting Workstream for the Middle Office transformation programme.
Provide Middle Office subject-matter input across multiple MO areas (e.g., trade lifecycle, corporate actions, reconciliations, cash & positions, pricing/data).
Review reporting requirements and validate that they align with actual MO workflows and controls.
Assist in UAT: develop test cases, execute tests, log defects, validate reporting outputs, and support sign-off readiness.
Work with programme BAs, technology teams, and service providers to clarify operational processes and data flows.
Document workflows, reporting logic, clarifications, and decisions throughout the project.
Support operational readiness for the new reporting model and identify gaps or enhancements.
Act as an escalation point for queries related to Middle Office processes and reporting behaviour.

What We're Looking For

5+ years Middle Office Operations experience, covering at least two or more Middle Office areas.
Strong understanding of operational processes and how they translate into reporting outputs.
Prior experience in projects, system migrations, TOM/outsourcing transitions or Middle Office workflow enhancements.
Hands-on UAT experience: test design, execution, defect logging, validation.
Ability to explain operational processes clearly, challenge assumptions, and provide structured guidance.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Nice to have: Exposure to reporting workstreams, reporting packs, or operational dashboards; experience with BlackRock Aladdin or fund admin/custodian reporting.
