Job Description

Manage end-to-end middle office operations, including trade support, lifecycle management, reconciliations, and confirmations.
Ensure daily BAU activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines and control standards.
Act as a key escalation point for operational issues, breaks, and exceptions.
Partner closely with front office, risk, finance, and compliance teams on operational and control matters.
Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and operational risks, and implement enhancements.
Lead, coach, and develop a team to maintain high performance and strong control discipline.
Support internal and external audits, regulatory reviews, and risk control assessments.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in banking operations or middle office functions.
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, and operational risk.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
