Program Manager - Custody Operations - Contract Opportunity

Our client a global investment bank with a prestigious brand is looking to recruit a senior program manager to join their business,to oversee the strategic change portfolio for the bank's global custody operations. This will incorporate both technology and business transformation, front to back, and will require in depth knowledge of a custody environment from a trade lifecycle perspective as well as a history of successfully delivering multi-year programmes of work.

Responsibilities (including and not limited to):

• Strategic program leadership and governance portfolio management
• Overseeing a complex, cross functional programme of work and multiple projects concurrently within the custody business
• Establishing a robust governance framework and associated reporting and infrastructure
• Managing the budget and resource allocation as well as designing and implementing key performance metrics to monitor progress
• You will lead and mentor a team of project managers and business analysts as well as interact effectively with both senior internal and external stakeholders

Core Skills:

• 15 years + Project Management or Programme Management experience within financial services with an in depth understanding of custody operations to be able to join the business as a subject matter expert
• You will have a track record of success managing a broad cross-section of projects including change management, system implemention, process improvement, transformation, regulatory change and compliance
• Expertise working with project methodologies - Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid
• Must possess executive-level communication skills
• Ability to drive stakeholder management toward desired outcomes and excellent presentation skills
