Job Description - Senior Consultant, Project Startup / Planning PMO Support (IT System Implementation for Banking Indu

Responsibilities:

Support the assessment and coordination of multiple IT projects and initiatives across the APAC region.
Identify and prevent inconsistencies or potential risks in project planning and execution.
Collaborate with stakeholders including regional IT, compliance, operations departments, APAC offices, and external vendors.
Assist in project planning activities such as defining As-Is/To-Be processes, migration planning, test planning, and creating WBS.
Prepare project documentation and materials to support internal approval processes.
Facilitate effective communication and meeting management among multiple project managers and stakeholders.
Contribute to senior management reporting and project governance documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any related fields.
Minimum 10 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a financial institution.
Proven experience in system implementation or migration projects with regional or global scope, especially in the planning phase.
Strong knowledge of project governance, documentation, and reporting standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder environments (business, IT, compliance, vendors, etc.).
Professional mindset with a high sense of responsibility.
Experience working in a consulting firm will be an added advantage.
Prior experience working in a bank’s IT Department, vendor selection, SLA, and performance management, coordinating with Japan-based stakeholders and background in managing cutover planning, data migration, and UAT across multiple countries are a plus.
