Job Description
Job Requirement
Report to the Team Lead as a contributing team member.
Review Letters of Credit (LC), contracts, and related documents to ensure transactions are self-liquidating.
Conduct price checks, vessel checks, mark-to-market assessments of collaterals and foreign exchange positions, ensuring compliance with bank, counterparty, and debtor limits.
Monitor vessel routes and vessel arrival; issue notices to disport agents when required.
Follow-up with customers to secure timely receipt of sales proceeds.
Review back-to-back matching lists and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Ensure adherence to the bank's policies, guidelines, regulatory requirements, and AML/CFT procedures.
Deliver tasks accurately and within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide administrative support to Team Leads as needed.
Requirements:
Sound knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URC URR, ISP, URDG, MAS/ABS Guidelines and experience in all areas of international trade
Bachelor Degree with 1 year of Trade Ops / Middle Office / AML experience.
Trade product knowledge
Proficient in excel & macro, tech savvy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous and strong follow-up skills
Able to work independently and strong teamwork
Bilingual preferred
Inquisitive & positive learning attitude
