1 year Contract Accountant (Healthcare Entry Level) #HJO

Job Responsibilities:

• Support treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, cash management, budgeting, and finance income projections.
• Monitor bank balances, prepare cash flow reports, and perform variance analysis.
• Review bank reconciliations and support efficient treasury management activities.
• Assist in managing Accounts Payable processes, including payment queries, issue resolution, ageing report reviews, and reconciliations.
• Support the administration of fixed assets, including asset verification, disposals, asset register maintenance, and schedule reviews.
• Assist with month-end closing activities by reviewing operating expenditure and ensuring timely financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, budget variance analysis, and financial reporting schedules.
• Liaise with shared service teams and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with reporting timelines.
• Maintain finance-related systems, cost centre information, and approval workflows.
• Support ad hoc finance projects and perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
