6 Months Contract – Wealth Management Operations, Data Management

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Wealth Management Operations – Data Management professional to join their team on a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client account opening and closure, static data maintenance, securities pricing, and corporate action activities relating to Equities, Fixed Income and Fund products within the Avaloq Banking System. The role will support clients across the Private Wealth and Premier Wealth segments and involves close collaboration with Front Office, Compliance, Middle Office, internal support functions, external trade counterparties and custodian banks.

Key Responsibilities

• Review application documents and process portfolio account opening and closure requests.

• Coordinate the opening and closure of safekeeping and CDP accounts with custodian banks.

• Liaise with Front Office, Compliance, BCCO and Middle Office teams on client account-related matters.

• Perform mark-to-market pricing of securities to ensure accurate and fair valuation of client assets and portfolios.

• Create and maintain client static data to support Front Office, Product Teams and Client Data Units.

• Perform maintenance of client static data in BWCIF and coordinate the upload of client specimen signatures in SVS via the ODIS Team.

• Conduct daily reviews of maintenance reports from Report Hub to identify and process client static data updates and changes.

• Review daily reports relating to stale security prices and price variances, ensuring discrepancies are appropriately investigated and resolved.

• Perform daily enrichment of Structured Notes and Equity & FX Accumulator/Decumulator assets.

• Perform ad hoc creation and maintenance of Equity, Bond and Fund assets within the banking system.

• Perform ad hoc creation and maintenance of transactional counterparty, issuer and custodian containers.

• Scan and manage client documentation in ECM-Portal for archival in the bank's Document Portal.

• Work closely with the Data & Records Management vendor on the physical storage and management of client and transaction documents.

• Ensure all operational activities are completed accurately, efficiently and in accordance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or university degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accountancy or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Wealth Management Operations or a similar environment.

• Prior experience in static data maintenance and/or corporate actions will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with client onboarding and account opening documentation within the wealth management industry.

• Good knowledge of various investment products, including Equities, Fixed Income, Funds and Structured Products.

• Strong understanding of corporate action events and relevant SWIFT messages.

• Salary ranges between S$4,500 to S$5,500 per month.
