Account Assistant (West 5 Days Full Set)

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support daily accounting operations. This role is suitable for candidates who are keen to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment.

Working Location: Toh Guan, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, normal office hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions

• Prepare invoices, payments, and receipts

• Maintain proper records of invoices, payments, and expenses

• Support bank reconciliation and monitor cash transactions

• Follow up on outstanding payments and assist with credit control

• Assist in GST filing and preparation of audit schedules

• Support month-end closing activities

• Handle basic journal entries and data entry into accounting systems

• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations

• Liaise with internal departments and external parties when required

• Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the finance team

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

• Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Responsible, detail-oriented, and willing to learn

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
