With ongoing growth, they are looking to expand their team by adding a proficient Account & Audit Manager to lead a team of Account Executives.

Job Description:

We are seeking an Account & Audit Manager skilled in overseeing full sets of accounts for various clients across multiple industries. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for guiding a team of two Account Executives, ensuring the delivery of monthly bookkeeping, preparation and submission of quarterly GST filings, drafting unaudited financial reports, and managing corporate tax filings. Additionally, you will assist the audit partner in audit preparation and report generation, dedicating approximately 25% of your time to audit-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage full sets of accounts for multiple clients in different industries.
• Supervise monthly bookkeeping and ensure accurate financial records by your team.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings.
• Draft unaudited financial reports and prepare tax computations.
• Handle corporate tax filings and liaise with auditors as required.
• Assist the audit partner in audit preparation and audit report generation.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and foster strong relationships.
• Lead and mentor a team of Account Executives to meet tight deadlines and client expectations.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm, with at least 1 year in an audit firm managing full sets of accounts, including bookkeeping, GST, financial reporting, and tax filings.
• Proficiency in MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, and Singtax software.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with a proactive approach to client interaction.
