Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s finance and administrative functions by organizing and documenting systems, policies, and auditing processes to ensure operational efficiency
• Prepare company accounts and corporate tax filings accurately and timely to comply with regulatory requirements
• Review monthly financial accounting and management reports for MICRO-MECHANICS (MMx) to support informed decision-making
• Prepare monthly consolidation reports, quarterly SGXnet reports, annual reports with supporting details, and annual consolidation budgets to meet statutory and internal deadlines
• Liaise with auditors and tax consultants to fulfill financial and tax reporting requirements and ensure compliance
• Coordinate with the company secretary to comply with Companies Act requirements and related government regulations
• Engage with bankers to manage required services and financing arrangements effectively
• Perform group internal audits by reviewing, implementing, and documenting accounting systems, procedures, and controls to strengthen financial governance
• Participate in ISO projects, Enterprise Risk Management, Transfer Pricing, and Sustainability Reporting to support corporate compliance and risk mitigation
• Assist in general administration functions, including human resources management, to maintain smooth operational workflows
• Compile, implement, enforce, and maintain company policies related to ISO standards, Environment, Health & Safety, and the Company Handbook to ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace by adhering to workplace health and safety policies and procedures
• Execute other tasks as directed to support company objectives

Requirements :

• Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in accountant role.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and is a strong team player.
• Willingness to travel (Quarterly).
