Accountant

Job Description & Requirements

• 5 Days work week: 8.30am - 5.30pm

A leading 3PL logistics company is looking for an Accountant to:

• Manage a team of six finance and accounts staff for the Singapore group of companies
• Oversee accounting, financial, treasury, taxation, audit, and statutory compliance functions
• Ensure accuracy, propriety, confidentiality, and timely preparation of financial statements and management accounts
• Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and J-SOX policies
• Supervise accounting entries, payment reviews, funding positions, and internal control systems
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, corporate secretary, IRAS, and relevant authorities on statutory and audit matters
• Prepare quarterly reports, financial surveys, audit schedules, and year-end financial statements
• Train, supervise, motivate, and manage staff performance and welfare within the department
• Safeguard company assets through effective internal controls and authorised transaction processes
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Accountancy/Finance
• Minimum 2-3 Years Relevant Experience preferred in a Warehouse/Logistic industry
• Knowledge of accounting software eg. SAP
• Strong, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good Communication and Team Collaboration Skills
