Accountant

We are looking for a meticulous and motivated Accountant to join our Singapore practice, managing accounting and tax compliance functions across a portfolio of clients in Singapore and Australia. You will work across diverse industries, delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. Full training and procedures will be provided for Australian client work.

Responsibilities: 

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records for assigned client portfolios 

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and period-end adjustments 

• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner 

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedule. 

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable standards 

• Prepare and submit GST returns and meet other statutory reporting requirements 

• Respond to day-to-day accounting queries from the client 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline 

• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or outsourcing environment 

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards 

• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail 

• Well-organised, dependable, and able to manage multiple client deadlines concurrently 

• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership 

• Good interpersonal and communication skills — you will be working closely with clients and internal teams
