Job Description - Accountant

Manage full set of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing
Ensure all trade activities are accounted for and comply to Company Trade Policy
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements
Prepare monthly management reporting pack and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness of financial records, including intercompany transactions
Monitor and manage cash flow forecasts
Liaise with internal stakeholders across regions to support intercompany and group reporting activities
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks and regulatory authorities
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, WHT, and corporate tax filings
Submission of government surveys
Support budgeting and forecasting processes in line with corporate guidelines
Drive improvements in accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency
Assist in finance transformation initiatives, including system implementations and automation projects
Support company affairs where required, including documentation related to board resolutions and governance
