Talad Thai Banana is a growing F&B brand bringing authentic Thai flavours to Singapore. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Accountant to join our team and support our finance operations.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts for Talad Thai Banana and its related entities. This is a hybrid role suited for someone who is comfortable working independently, thrives in a fast-paced F&B environment, and has practical experience handling end-to-end accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle the full set of accounts for the Company and/or related entities.
2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment preparation, and collection follow-ups.
3. Perform bank reconciliations, sales reconciliations, payment reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
4. Prepare monthly financial closing, financial statements, management reports, and other accounting reports as required by management.
5. Assist in the preparation, filing, and submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and related tax documentation.
6. Support payroll processing, CPF submissions, staff claims, reimbursements, and maintenance of employee-related payment records.
7. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, suppliers, banks, government authorities, and other relevant parties.
8. Maintain proper filing, record-keeping, and safeguarding of accounting documents, financial records, and supporting documentation.
9. Assist management in budgeting, cash flow monitoring, cost control, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis.
10. Ensure compliance with the Company's accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
11. Undertake any other duties or assignments as reasonably assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the F&B or retail industry.
• Hands-on experience with full set of accounts is required.
• Familiarity with GST filing, CPF submissions, and Singapore statutory requirements.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience working in an F&B environment is strongly preferred — understanding of outlet-level sales reconciliation, food cost tracking, or multi-outlet operations will be an advantage.
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid arrangement with occasional on-site presence as required.
