Position Summary

We are looking for an Accountant, who will be responsible for managing the organisation's financial reporting, accounting operations, costing, inventory management and statutory compliance for Singapore entities. The ideal candidate will have a strong account background, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the accuracy and timely reporting of financial statement, costing activities and local compliance for Singapore entities.

• Oversee general accounting and reporting including inventory management, statutory accounting, tax submissions, cash flow ensuring compliance with company policies/ procedures.

• Actively participate in various financial initiatives to maintain and improve financial and process efficiency, in adherence to company policies/ procedures.

• Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure quality and timely deliverables.

• Assist in preparation of budgeting and forecasting through various collaboration with internal stakeholders.

• Handle internal and external audit review and coordinate with tax agents, secretary and other relevant parties as necessary.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and drive process efficiencies.
  

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or CPA.

• Minimum 5 years of full-set accounting and costing experience.

• Proven experience in handling financial reporting.

• Keen analytical mind, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player.

• Strong ERP experience/ knowledge.

• Strong hands-on experience in costing, inventory management, month-end closing and financial analysis.

• Strong communication skills in Chinese to communicate with China counterparts; fluency in Cantonese is a plus.

• Candidates must meet legal requirements to work in Singapore without sponsorship.
