Accountant

The opportunity

As an Accountant at Chong Chen Building Materials & Construction Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting of the organisation. This is a full-time position based in the Katong Central Region.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the accounting system
• Reconcile accounts and identify and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Provide financial and analytical support to management
• Comply with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
