Accountant

About Us

Juno Pacific Pte Ltd is a manufacturer and distributor of Korean food products, supplying leading FMCG retailers and foodservice customers across Asia. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of accounting functions and contribute to the Company's day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Maintain full sets of accounts and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process payments and receipts and ensure timely settlement of supplier invoices and collection of trade receivables.
• Liaise with banks on banking matters, including trade financing facilities such as Trust Receipts (TR) and Letters of Credit (LC), where applicable.
• Prepare GST returns and assist with statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Monitor inventory-related accounting transactions and reconciliations.
• Support external auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders during audits and statutory filings.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and undertake other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in preparing full sets of accounts and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

The following will be an advantage:

• Experience in the FMCG, trading or distribution industry.
• Familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
• Exposure to trade financing (Trust Receipts and Letters of Credit).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting or inventory accounting.
