Accountant

An accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and supporting the financial health of an organization. The role involves recording financial transactions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

• Prepare group consolidation and perform financial analytical review
• Timely and accurate preparation of monthly schedules/balance sheet reconciliation
• Ensure monthly intercompany balances are reconciled accurately
• Ensure financial records are maintained accurately and in compliance with each country’s financial reporting standards
• Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretarial and tax agent
• Prepare group financial statements & notes to the accounts
• Prepare group budgeting and forecasting
• Manage group cashflow
• Responsible for full set of accounts including AR & AP
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of Finance Department
• Preparing quarterly GST reports
• Any other duties as instructed by supervisor or management

Job Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Accounting / ACCA / Degree in Accountancy or related qualification and above
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, financial consolidation experience will be preferred
• Familiar with SQL, Xero, MYOB will be preferred
• Familiar with Singapore and Malaysia accounting regulations preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook, powerpoint, excel and words)
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
