Accountant - Group of 5 Companies

Responsible for the day-to-day accounting & finance functions within the companies

• Handle full sets of accounts independently.
• Assist with the improvement and implementation of accounting processes.
• Maintain and organize financial records and files.
• Execute migration to new Accounting Software
• Report to Company Director

Job Description

1. Accurate and timely recording of all companies’ financial transactions (Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivables) in EZ Accounting Software/Xero Software/Quickbooks

2. Prepare payment vouchers (Suppliers/Inter-company/Contra payments)

3. Assist in generating invoices

4. Bank Reconciliation

5. Inter-companies Reconciliations

6. Monthly Closing of Accounts

7. Prepare monthly reports to Director (P&L reports, Expenses report, Overhead costs)

8. Preparation of Quarterly GST reports for Tax Payable & Claimable & submission of GST to IRAS

9. Employee income tax preparation (IR8A) and submission via IRAS Auto-inclusion scheme

10. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and statutory requirements at all times

11. Prepare for and support year-end audit & reconciliation of inter-company balances.

12. Ad-hoc duties given by Director
