Accountant (Accounts Receivables, General Ledger and Reporting)

The Role

This position will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance functions in accordance with statutory requirements, company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely preparation and accurate reporting of financial matters such as management reports, financial statements, Corporate tax and GST reporting , audit schedules intercompany reconciliation as well as checking of payment records
• Manage operational activities of the finance team, including streamlining processes and procedures to promote efficiency and accuracy
• Review property level variance analysis, AR/GL posting, and perform month end closing processes
• Required to perform credit review for vendor selection, as well as liaise with auditors and tax consultants on year end and taxation matters.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects, driving process improvements such as SAP implementation, system design and implementation etc
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• CPA/CA qualification and/or Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics.
• Minimum 5 to 7 years’ relevant hands-on experience and / or audit experiences
• Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, curious and eager to learn
• A team player who is meticulous, analytical, organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills as the role involves frequent liaising with various parties such as inter-department, property managers/agents and auditors
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP system, real estate or financial services industry would be advantageous.
