Accountant - High-Growth IPO Firm

Our client is an established player in the semiconductor industry. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a hands-on Accountant to take ownership of the full spectrum of accounting activities for their Singapore operations.

Reporting into the finance leadership team, you will manage end-to-end accounting and play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of the complete set of accounts, covering AP, AR, GL
• Drive month-end and year-end close, including journal postings and account reconciliations
• Prepare the full suite of financial statements including balance sheet, profit & loss and cash flow
• Oversee the fixed asset register, covering additions, disposals and depreciation schedules
• Ensure adherence to local accounting standards, tax regulations and statutory obligations
• Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies
• Manage GST/VAT submissions and other tax-related filings
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis, including cost analysis
• Provide support on ad-hoc reporting and requests from management

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing a full set of accounts, with exposure to cost analysis. Prior experience in the semiconductor / manufacturing industry is a plus
• Sound understanding of accounting standards and local tax requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Independent, deadline-driven and able to manage priorities with minimal supervision
