Accountant (Immediate Vacancy, SAP system trained) - MNC

My client is a global MNC in the commodity sector, looking for an Accountant to join their Singapore team on a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting across AR, AP, inventory, and GL, alongside treasury and cash management activities, ensuring all transactions comply with IFRS and group policies.
• Responsible month-end and year-end close, including journals, schedules, and reconciliations, with timely and accurate reporting to HQ.
• Involves participating in UAT for the company's SAP ECC to S/4 HANA migration.
• Support internal and external audits, uphold internal control processes, maintain documentation for accounting and tax compliance, and partner with stakeholders across functions to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy with 3–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience.
• SAP experience (ECC or S/4 HANA) is required with strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Sharp attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work to tight month-end deadlines, and you're a collaborative team player.
• Able to commit to the full 12-month contract period.
