Accountant - Malaysia Accounting

• 6 months contract
• Location: Near Tai Seng MRT (2 mins walk)
• MNC

Responsibilities:

• Manage full spectrum of accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, payroll, fixed and lease assets, and inventory write-downs.
• Prepare period-end journal entries and reconciliations.
• Reconcile transactions between Business and Accounting systems.
• Deliver financial statements using SAP FICO.
• Oversee daily operations: banking, AR, AP, inventory, and fixed assets compliance.
• Streamline accounting policies and handle audits.
• Maintain tax schedules and liaise with tax agents.
• Monitor updates on Malaysia WHT, and corporate income tax.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or ACCA (preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel (advanced) and SAP.
• Experience in Malaysian accounting, and corporate income tax (preferred).
