1. Financial Reporting & General Ledger Management
Handle the full spectrum of financial accounting, including the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts for multiple brands and outlets.
Perform clear variance analysis on outlet sales, operational costs, and bottom-line profitability, providing key actionable insights to management.
Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset registers, and intercompany transactions across different operating entities.
2. F&B Cost Accounting & Inventory Control
Collaborate with operations and kitchen teams to monitor, analyze, and optimize Food Costing, beverage costs, and central kitchen utilization.
Track daily/weekly inventory variations, food wastage patterns, and discrepancies between POS-recorded usage and actual physical stock-take assessments.
Oversee periodic physical stock counts at outlets and central storage hubs, ensuring strict adherence to internal valuation standards.
3. Cash Flow & POS System Reconciliation
Manage daily cash flow operations, monitoring cash balances at outlet levels and safe-dropping procedures.
Perform daily and monthly revenue reconciliations matching Point-of-Sale (POS) reports against actual settlements from various merchant payment modes (Cash, NETS, Credit Cards, GrabPay, Foodpanda, etc.).
Verify and process vendor payments, claims, and central purchasing invoices accurately.
4. Statutory Compliance & Tax Management
Prepare and submit quarterly Goods and Services Tax (GST) computations and filings to IRAS in strict compliance with local regulations.
Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretarial agents, and tax consultants for annual statutory filings and regulatory compliance.
[MANDATORY CRITERIA]
Minimum 2 to 4 years of solid, hands-on accounting experience directly within the Singapore Food & Beverage (F&B) industry or multi-outlet retail sector. Candidates without direct F&B operations exposure will not be prioritized.
Qualifications & Technical Skills:
Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CA Singapore).
Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Info-Tech) and strong integration familiarity with front-of-house POS systems.
Advanced Excel Skills: Excellent capability in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling for food costing and gross margin calculations).
Regulatory Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, local corporate tax regulations, and IRAS GST protocols.
Attributes: Highly organized, meticulous, attentive to fine details, and robust enough to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment.
