🎯 Your Role in This Journey

We’re looking for one whom brings both precision and perspective. Someone who thrives at maintaining financial hygiene while also helping the leadership make bold, data-driven decisions. You’ll own the full finance function — from daily reporting to long-term planning — and act as a thought partner to the CEO as we professionalize and scale.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

📘 Accounting & Core Finance Operations

• Manage full sets of accounts (GL, AR, AP, bank reconciliations)
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly/quarterly management reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Ensure compliance with tax, GST, and audit requirements
• Oversee year-end closing, external audits, and liaise with tax agents and corporate secretaries

💰 Cash Flow, Working Capital & Control

• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts and monitor liquidity buffers
• Analyze and improve Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) – optimize receivables, payables, and inventory flow
• Strengthen internal controls across procurement, disbursement, and scrap intake processes
• Implement budget discipline and cost oversight across teams and sites

📊 Financial Planning & Business Insight

• Build forward-looking forecasts and scenario models
• Track financial and operational KPIs
• Partner with operations to identify margin improvement opportunities and cost drivers
• Present insights that support strategic decisions around expansion, pricing, and procurement

📈 Strategic Finance & Readiness for Growth

• Support the CEO in financial structuring to enable future scaling and partnerships
• Build internal capabilities to support external capital engagement (e.g. lenders, partners)
• Lead the setup and maintenance of a clean financial foundation and data infrastructure
• Support business valuation discussions, scenario planning, and long-term capital efficiency
• Plus point if applicant experience in DD and preparing for data room.

🔧 Digitisation & System Integration

• Recommend and implement finance-related automation and reporting systems
• Collaborate across departments to integrate weighbridge, CRM, and inventory systems
• Inputs in Designing real-time dashboards and reporting templates for management
