Accounting Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Accounting Manager to oversee full sets of accounts, monthly closing, financial reporting, and compliance matters for the Singapore entity. This role will support finance operations, lead an Accounts Executive, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting processes while supporting business and management reporting needs.

Job Duties

• Manage the full monthly closing process and prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring all financial data is properly reviewed and consolidated.

• Maintain accurate accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting processes in compliance with internal controls, company policies, and financial reporting requirements.

• Handle GST filings, corporate tax matters, statutory submissions, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, and regulatory authorities when required.

• Oversee payroll processing, statutory contributions, and related payments in a timely and accurate manner.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cash flow management to support operational and financial efficiency.

• Support quarterly consolidated reporting, year-end closing activities, audit preparation, and tax filing requirements.

• Continuously improve accounting workflows, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

• Support management reporting and financial analysis to facilitate business decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent will be in an added advantage.

• More than 5 years of relevant experience in handling a full sets of accounts and monthly closing processes.

• Experience in independently managing accounting operations, Singapore Tax compliance and statutory compliance is a must.

• Proficiency in accounting such as SAP B1, SAP S/4 HANA will be an advantage.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standard (GAAP or IFRS).
